As I was interested in bringing more vibrant colours into my work and also inspired by the different layers of rock, I found that geological maps were a real inspiration point.
The combinations of colours together in sections told apart by various marks make interesting formations and patterns.
Mark making is something that I want to introduce back into this project, I think by taking inspiration from these maps and dropping marks back into my own drawings would really enhance my project work.
